AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation Shipping Policy
At AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation, we aim to provide cost-effective and reliable shipping for our customers. Shipping costs are determined based on the size and weight of items, shipping distance, delivery location access, and selected shipping method.
Shipping Methods & Freight Delivery

We do not ship to P.O. boxes.

Most commercial playground equipment and large items ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight, delivered curbside at the provided shipping address.

FTL (Full Truckload) freight may be used for exceptionally large orders, such as water slides or oversized playground structures. Transit times may be shorter since these shipments go directly from warehouse to destination.

Small parcel items may be shipped via UPS, FedEx, or USPS, depending on warehouse availability.
Processing & Delivery Times

In-stock orders placed before 1:00 PM CST typically process within 1-2 business days.

Freight shipments generally take 3-10 business days in transit, but delivery times are not guaranteed.

Orders with multiple large items may be consolidated for efficiency, potentially affecting lead times.
Curbside Freight Delivery Guidelines
AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation ships large items via freight with curbside delivery. Here’s what to expect:

Deliveries are made by a tractor-trailer with a step and handle for easy access to the trailer.

The freight carrier will contact you at the provided phone number to schedule a delivery appointment.

If your shipment is going to a commercial address, an appointment will only be scheduled if requested.

It is recommended to request a 30-45 minute advance call from the driver to avoid long wait times.

Liftgate services are not included unless purchased at checkout. The freight carrier may offer liftgate service for an additional charge, but most large shipments do not fit properly on a liftgate.

The driver’s responsibility is to position the truck curbside and provide access to the trailer. Some drivers may assist in unloading at their discretion, but this is not guaranteed.

Shipments may be bundled, crated, or palletized. Large orders may contain 20+ boxes, so we recommend having help available for unloading.

Customers should have basic tools, such as a box cutter, crowbar, or power drill, for uncrating items. A camera and pen should be available to document any shipment issues.

The recipient is responsible for disposing of pallets and packaging materials.

In cases where trucks cannot access a location due to road restrictions or clearance issues, delivery may be required at an alternate location.
Receiving Your Shipment
Freight deliveries require careful inspection and documentation. Follow these steps upon receiving your shipment:

Before unloading, take 4-6 photos of the shipment for documentation.

Inspect all boxes for damage before signing the delivery receipt. Scratches and dents can typically be addressed with replacement parts, so rejection should be reserved for severe damage that renders products unusable.

Compare your received items against the bill of lading (BOL) and packing list.

Any damage or missing items must be noted on the delivery receipt before signing. Take a photo of the signed document and email it to ty@ameriplaysports.com.

Customers are responsible for reporting damage or lost items within [X] hours of delivery.
Reporting Damaged or Lost Items

The number of pieces received must match what is listed on the delivery receipt. Any shortages must be noted at the time of delivery.

Failure to note missing or damaged items on the delivery paperwork releases AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation and the carrier from replacement responsibility. Customers will be responsible for purchasing missing parts and associated shipping costs.

If a shipment is severely damaged beyond usability, contact us immediately at (936)-292-3200 before rejecting the shipment.
Rejecting a Shipment Due to Damage

Minor cosmetic damage does not warrant shipment rejection. Most issues can be resolved with replacement parts or touch-up kits.

If a primary structural component is severely damaged and cannot be repaired, contact us before refusing delivery at (936)-292-3200.
Concealed Damage or Missing Parts
If damage or missing parts are discovered after delivery:

Take photos of the shipment and signed delivery paperwork.

Email the documentation to ty@ameriplaysports.com.

Refer to our Terms of Service for additional information on claims processing.
Additional Fees & Services
AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation keeps shipping costs low by excluding unnecessary fees unless requested. Additional charges may apply for:

Liftgate Service – If requested post-checkout and available, fees range from $150-$250.

Inside Delivery – Available for an extra charge of $150-$300.
-
Reconsignment (Address Change After Shipping) – Fees depend on distance but can exceed $200.

Missed Delivery Appointment/Redelivery – Additional charges of $80-$150 per shipment apply.
Policy Revisions & Exceptions
AmeriPlay Sports & Recreation reserves the right to make exceptions or updates to this shipping policy as necessary. The latest policy version will always be available on our website.
