The Portland Play Structure combines varied climbing paths, imaginative elements, and multiple slide options in a weather-resistant, activity-rich layout. Children can reach the upper deck using the Transfer Station for an easy, accessible ascent or take on the Vertical Ladder for a classic, more active climb. For kids seeking a tougher challenge, the Figure Climber offers molded footholds and hand placements that promote coordination, strength, and problem-solving. Once elevated, three slide styles extend from different points of the structure: a Right Turn Slide for a curved, high-energy descent, a Wave Slide for a rolling ride, and a Double Slide that supports side-by-side racing. Imaginative features anchor the center of the structure, including a Ship’s Wheel for pretend navigation and a Bubble Window set into the Tube Bridge, encouraging deep-sea or submarine-themed storytelling. For upper-body development, the Pull Up Bar offers a strength-building activity at ground level.
