The Durham Play Structure features a clean, linear layout that makes it easy for children to move from one activity to the next. Entry begins at the Transfer Station, which leads to two unique climbers—the Pod Climber, shaped with rounded vertical segments that resemble stylized columns, and the Sea Creature Climber, detailed with 3D aquatic shapes for added grip and visual interest. At the upper deck, three slide options provide different ways to return to the ground: the Double Slide for shared rides, the Wave Slide with gentle undulations, and the Spiral Slide for a twisting descent. Ground-level features add more ways to play, including a Ship’s Wheel for imaginative exploration, musical components such as Bongos and a Single Drum, and a Rain Wheel that creates a rainfall sound when spun. The Bench Panel offers a convenient resting spot beneath the structure. With its combination of themed climbers, varied slides, and interactive ground-level components, this structure stands out for its straightforward flow and diverse mix of climbing, sliding, and creative play elements.
