Rubber Playground Mulch

Crafted from recycled rubber, this playground mulch serves as an excellent loose-fill ground cover ideal for both playgrounds and commercial landscaping projects. Available in 1,950-pound super sacks or a pallet containing 50 bags of 1.5 cubic feet each, it provides a safer alternative to traditional wood mulch as it doesn’t splinter. Designed to meet or exceed U.S. CPSC and IPEMA playground safety standards.  A 6-inch layer of this mulch offers 16 feet of critical fall protection, according to ASTM F1292-04.

Each 2,000-pound super sack or pallet of 50 1.5 cu ft bags covers:

• 225 square feet at a 4-inch depth

• 150 square feet at a 6-inch depth

• 112 square feet at an 8-inch depth

This mulch remains soft and flexible in any climate, is non-organic, and resists rodent, snake, and insect infestations. Unlike wood mulch, Rubber Mulch does not rapidly decompose over time.

It comes with a 10-year color warranty, and its polyurethane coating ensures superior adhesion and abrasion resistance. Additionally, it is non-staining, so it won't leave color residue on children's clothes or pets.

For optimal safety, a compacted 4-inch depth is recommended for fall heights up to 6 feet, and a compacted 6-inch depth is ideal for fall heights of up to 13 feet.
